How we got here
Founded in Bandung
Three engineers from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) identified the fragmentation problem in Indonesian hospital IT and founded Katekima to solve it.
First hospital deployment
Piloted Smart IT and IoT integration at a 300-bed regional hospital in West Java. 98% uptime in the first 12 months.
Edge AI platform launched
Released the first version of our on-premise AI inference engine, enabling triage decision support without cloud dependency.
Expanded to 5 countries
Grew operations beyond Indonesia to Malaysia, the Philippines, and two additional Southeast Asian markets.
